This policy explains how AfricaNext-AI (Pty) Ltd ("AfricaNext-AI", "we", "us") handles personal information at the company level — across our website, our products, and any direct contact you have with us. AfricaNext-AI (Pty) Ltd is a South African private company. We build software products for African businesses. Our first product is Hlela, a practice management platform for allied medical professionals.
Under POPIA, AfricaNext-AI (Pty) Ltd is the responsible party for personal information we collect. Under GDPR, we act as the data controller for the same information.

This policy covers personal information collected through:

- Direct contact with us by email at the addresses listed below.
- Recruitment, supplier, and investor enquiries.
Product-specific processing (for example, appointments booked through Hlela) is governed by that product's own privacy policy, which is linked from the product itself.

- Contact details you send us (name, email, message contents).
- Basic web analytics from africanextai.com (pages visited, country, referrer).
- Recruitment information if you apply to work with us.
4. How we use it
- To respond to your email and follow up on enquiries.

We do not sell personal information and we do not run third-party advertising on our website.

We share personal information only with service providers that help us operate (for example email hosting and analytics), and only to the extent needed. We require those providers to protect personal information and to use it only for the purposes we instruct.

We use encryption in transit, encrypted secret storage, role-based access controls, and continuous security scanning across our products. Suspected vulnerabilities can be reported confidentially to security@africanextai.com.
